A few months back, I bought my first Golden Goose sneakers (you might remember seeing them in a recent post), and received a number of questions about them since then. So many that I thought it was time for a full review! I’ve also had them long enough that I understand how they really perform, and a variety of other factors about them, which you’ll see me go more into detail about.

Where did you buy them?
I ordered mine from Cettire when they had a limited-time deal going on.
I ordered them on the 28th of April and they were delivered by the 30th, so the shipping was super fast and that’s a win in my book
How expensive are they?
Back in April, I managed to get them for $385.43 instead of paying the full $513.91.
Golden Goose sneakers typically cost anywhere between $400–$1,700, depending on how detailed they are.
How is the fit?
They’re true to size in my experience, at least for me.
Since they keep their shape and half sizes aren’t available, I’d choose the larger option.
Are they comfortable?
They only needed minimal break-in time..
How durable are they?
They look worn from the start, I didn’t ggoose.org worry about scuffing them more. I’ve worn them all over NYC, and they’ve held up beautifully. Nothing has torn, and the structure feels strong. Thanks to the vintage look, I don’t really notice if there’s new wear and tear.
How are they vs. other brands?
Nothing else compares in comfort or quality. I wear Vejas and Tretons too, but Golden Goose wins in both comfort and quality. They include a built-in arch bump that adds just over an inch — making your legs look longer. Also, they’re handmade in small batches, so each pair is unique. And the sparkle on mine? Next-level.
Would you buy again?
Totally! Though I suggest looking for a deal. They’re not cheap, so getting them on sale is worth it. Still, I think they’re worth a few hundred bucks, especially if you get a pair you love. I chose a loud pair, but a minimalist version would also go with everything.

When I ordered my pair in spring, I paid around $385, but their standard price is around $514.
You can expect to pay between $410 and seventeen hundred depending on their design features.
How does the sizing run?
I’d say they fit true to size, based on my pair. They haven’t stretched at all, so if you’re between sizes, I’d go up
Are they comfortable?
Very comfy, and only took a few hours to break in.
Do they hold up well?
Since they come pre-distressed, I didn’t worry about getting them dirty. I’ve worn them all over the city, and they still look great. No glitter has fallen off, and the leather hasn’t stretched.
Thanks to the vintage look, I can’t even tell if there’s new wear and tear.
